Former CIA agent Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) is reinstated to his position after saving the life of a British minister and his family. When Ryan kills one of the assassins during an assassination attempt, the killer’s brother, an IRA warrior, seeks revenge on Ryan and his family, coming to America to carry out his plan. Patriot Games is based on one of Tom Clancy’s best-selling novels and features Harrison Ford as Clancy’s beloved character Jack Ryan. Ford later reprised the role in “Clear and Present Danger.”
