Investigative journalist Rowena Price (Halle Berry) discovers a possible connection between her friend’s murder and powerful ad executive Harrison Hill (Bruce Willis). With the help of her colleague Miles Haley (Giovanni Ribisi), she assumes a new identity to get close to Hill. Working as a temporary secretary in Hill’s company, she becomes Veronica, the woman he flirts with online. As Rowena closes in on her target, she realizes she’s not the only one who has changed their identity.
