Stu Shepard (Colin Farrell) is an ambitious ad executive climbing the ladder of success in New York. When he answers a call from a phone booth where he has been cheating on his wife, his life takes a drastic turn. Now, a sniper (Kiefer Sutherland) on the other end of the line, unseen in one of the buildings above, demands Stu confess to his wife (Rada Mitchell) and girlfriend (Katie Holmes) or face the consequences.
