William and Dakota Block (Josh Brolin and Marley Shelton) notice people wandering in their backyard one night. As they leave the house, they see the city’s residents starting to behave strangely. Slowly, people become aggressive. Dancer Cherry (Rose McGowan) and her ex-boyfriend Ray (Freddy Rodriguez), whose leg was torn off during the attacks, wander crazily around the city with William and Dakota, as the gas released in the explosion in the city turns people into bloodthirsty creatures…
