Clint Eastwood’s first directorial debut… DJ Dave Garver falls for Evelyn Draper, who claims to be his biggest fan. After the bar closes, Dave goes to Evelyn’s house, unaware of the trouble this chance encounter will lead to. A fan of Erroll Garner, Evelyn starts stalking Dave after that night. Suddenly, Dave finds himself at Evelyn’s mercy. Constantly watching him at business meetings and private dinners, Evelyn starts threatening Dave’s girlfriend Toby Williams. Dave is too late to prevent the situation from spiraling out of control.
