After having his license revoked for performing surgery under the influence of a high dose of amphetamines, famous Los Angeles surgeon Dr. Eugene Sands’ life is turned upside down when he meets Raymond Blossom. Raymond, a mafia boss, strikes a deal with Eugene, making him the mafia’s personal doctor. As Eugene gets involved in the dangers of the underworld step by step, things get even more complicated when he starts getting closer to Raymond’s girlfriend. At a crossroads, Eugene must decide whether to continue down this path or confront the demon inside him and take control of his own destiny.
