Proof of Life 2000
Peter Bowman is an American engineer working on a dam project in South America. When he is kidnapped by guerrillas, his wife Alice hires experienced hostage negotiator and rescuer Terry Thorne to save him. Thorne tries to negotiate a ransom for Bowman but fails. He then decides to launch a rescue operation in the jungle to save Bowman from the guerrillas. As these events unfold, a romance blossoms between Alice and Terry.
