Red Heat 1988
Film “Red Heat” follows Captain Ivan Danko (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a ruthless police officer known as “Iron Jaw,” who heads the Moscow homicide department. He is tasked with bringing back a Russian drug dealer arrested in the United States for a simple traffic violation. Danko is accompanied by Art Ridzik (James Belushi), a clever but sleazy detective from Chicago. The two officers from different cultures develop a relationship based on humor and respect as they work together to stop an international drug trade happening outside the walls of Stateville Prison. Their alternative police procedures, known as “Russian and Ridzik style,” land them in trouble with the authorities as they evade justice. “Red Heat” is an action-packed comedy that will keep you entertained throughout.
