Frank (Bruce Willis) is a retired government agent living a quiet life in a nondescript neighborhood. His only joy comes from talking to Sarah (Mary-Louis Parker), his government pension administrator. Sarah, lonely like Frank, finds solace in spy novels. When something from Frank’s past pulls him back into the world of espionage, he and Sarah embark on a journey into Frank’s past and the people he used to work with.
