Rent 2005
Chris Columbus, who directed the Harry Potter films in 2001 and 2002, is now directing the film adaptation of Rent, a musical based on Giacomo Puccini’s La bohème and focusing on a group of artists living in New York’s Lower East Side. The award-winning musical stars Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal, and Idina Menzel, who also portray the same characters in the film.
