Bob, whose whole world is shattered with the sudden death of his beloved zoologist wife Elizabeth, is not yet ready to start life anew even though a year has passed. Meanwhile, in another part of Chicago, Grace Briggs, who was treated with a heart transplant for a childhood illness, is eager to dive into a brand new world. Grace meets Bob at O’Reilly Italian restaurant, owned by her grandfather. The two fall in love, and begin to discover truths about their lives and question their love. The result is a challenging journey of finding difficult harmony and unity in their relationship, sometimes funny and sometimes sad.
