Robin Hood: Men in Tights 1993
Returning home to England from the Crusades, Robin Hood discovers that his brother Prince John has seized the throne in the absence of the king with the help of the “Sheriff of Rottingham”. Organizing a group of patriots to fight against the cruel ruler who oppresses the people, Robin Hood strives to restore the true king, King Richard, to power. However, the film’s only similarity with other Robin Hood films is this basic premise. The foundation of the film is a multitude of parodies related to this fundamental legend.
