Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves 1991
During the Crusades, Robin of Locksley and his friend Azeem are captured by the Turks but manage to escape back to England. Azeem swears to stay by Robin’s side until he can repay the debt of saving his life. Meanwhile, while King Richard is away at war, the Sheriff of Nottingham, aided by Richard’s treacherous brother Prince John, seizes power by killing Robin’s father. Robin vows to avenge his father’s death and restore Richard to the throne, becoming the leader of a band of outcast villagers in Sherwood Forest. With the help of the villagers, Robin sets out to rid England of the sheriff’s tyranny.
