In 13th century England, Robin and his band of outlaws rise up against corruption in the village and challenge the power balance between the king and his subjects. Robin, a skilled archer who once only cared about his own safety and later served in King Richard’s army against the French, becomes a symbol of freedom in the eyes of the people. After Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, where he battles a ruthless, despotic sheriff along with high taxes, and falls in love with the brave widow Lady Marion, who questions the identity and intentions of this forest hero. Robin gathers a gang with deadly fighting skills matched only by their appetites for life, as their country weakened by decades of war, ineffective rule of a new king, and internal rebellions and external threats, Robin and his people embark on great adventures. This incredible hero and his followers set out to save their country from a bloody civil war and once again bring glory and honor to England.
