Rosewater 2014
Maziar Bahari, a BBC reporter, is detained in Iran for 100 days in the film Rosewater, based on true events. He promises his pregnant fiancée that he will be back in a week for the upcoming Iranian presidential election, but upon his arrival in Iran, he is unexpectedly detained. Subjected to months of torture and interrogation in the country’s most notorious prison, he only recognizes his interrogator by his scent. The person torturing him is known as Rosewater.
