Rules of Engagement 2000
Colonel Terry Childers, a 30-year-old soldier, has fought for his country in Vietnam, Beirut, and the Desert Storm Operation. During a rescue operation in Yemen, more than 80 civilians lost their lives in clashes between soldiers and protesters. As a result, Colonel Childers is brought to his country’s court to be held accountable for the operation. He is being tried for violating the rules of engagement by allegedly firing on unarmed civilians. He chooses his friend, Colonel Hayes Hodges, as his lawyer. Hodges is not considered one of the best lawyers in the military, but he owes Childers. Hodges takes on the case, only to find his friend’s situation suspicious.
