Sahara 1943
Film begins with the tank under the command of Sergeant Joe Gunn being moved to the southern front in the Sahara desert to gain combat experience. The second part of the film sees the rest of the plot unfold. The tank crew is trying to replenish their supplies at a leaking well in the Akroma ruins. Meanwhile, a 500-man German unit is also facing the same issue as they head towards the well. Sergeant Joe and his team plan to resist the Germans in order to defend their country, drawing inspiration from similar success stories in history.
