Saving Mr. Banks 2013
American film producer Walt Disney promises to make a film based on the favorite book of his daughters, “Mary Poppins.” However, convincing the book’s author, Pamela Lyndon Travers, is not an easy task. In 1961, Travers comes to Hollywood to discuss the film adaptation of her book at Disney’s insistence. After much effort, the visuals and music for the film are prepared and presented to her, but Travers remains stubborn. Walt Disney will have to understand Travers’ emotions in order to be able to make the film.
