British journalist Joe Strombel mysteriously dies. Before his death, he was following the “Tarot Card” Strombelle murders that were shaking the city. Strombel’s death interrupts the investigation into the murders and the mystery surrounding the case remains unsolved. Journalism student Sondra must complete Strombel’s unfinished work. While watching a magician named Sid Waterman’s show, the young but very intelligent intern Sondra learns important information about the murders. All clues point to – the handsome British aristocrat Peter Lyman. As Sondra delves deeper into her investigation, an irresistible attraction develops between her and Lyman.
