Secret Window 2004
Mort Rainey, a horror thriller film, is about a man who has recently separated from his wife and unexpectedly encounters a dangerous stranger named John Shooter at his lakeside home. Shooter, a psychopathic hitman, claims that Rainey stole his story and demands justice. Rainey seeks help from a private detective as the situation escalates into threats and ultimately, murders. A chain of events spirals out of control, leading to terrifying moments where Rainey realizes he can’t trust anyone, not even himself. Adapted from the short story “Secret Window” featured in a book titled “Secret Garden.”
