Hae Joon works as an equipment controller for a small team connected on a drilling rig platform in the south of Jeju Island. His late father’s former colleague Jung Man is appointed as the captain of the new underwater research vessel Eclipse. Even though watching the platform depart is his job, Jung Man offers to do one last drilling. After three weeks of preparation, Hae Jun and his teammate dive into the water to repair a part of the platform. His colleague gets buried in a crevice due to a hardware issue while they are working. When Hae Joon returns to the platform, his other teammates start dying in strange ways. Later, they learn that a monster living underwater has come up to the platform and is feeding on the crew.
