Shadow Dancer 2012
A worried wife, a mother, a terrorist… a woman dedicated to the independence of Northern Ireland. We first see Colette McVey as a child in the 1970s, witnessing her younger brother killed in a sectarian conflict. Twenty years later, Colette is arrested in London for placing a bomb on the subway. The Secret Service gives her a choice: keep quiet and serve 25 years in prison, or spy on her own family. With an all-star cast including Oscar-nominee Clive Owen, Andrea Riseborough, and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson, directed by James Marsh of “Man on Wire” and “The King” fame.
