After Princess Pei Pei is kidnapped and a ransom of gold is demanded for her safe return, Chong Wang infiltrates the group of guards appointed by the Chinese emperor to retrieve the ransom in America. While crossing the Nevada desert, they are attacked by a gang, but Chong manages to save the group. However, he gets separated from them in the desert. Meanwhile, Roy, who is blamed for the gang’s failed robbery, is left buried in the sand as punishment. Chong encounters Roy while trying to escape the desert and Roy pleads for Chong to rescue him. Along his journey, Chong receives gifts from a Crow tribe – a stubborn horse, a peace staff, and a beautiful Indian woman. Chong is no longer alone on his journey.
