Sightseers 2012
Chris and Tina want to show each other their own worlds. The young lovers hop into a caravan and set off on a journey across the British Isles. Tina has lived a sheltered life and Chris has specific places he wants to show her, like the Creech Tramway Museum, Ribblehead Viaduct, Keswick Pencil Museum. But soon their dreams are shattered. Polluters, thuggish youths, and Tina’s aggressive mother start to get in the way of Chris fulfilling his dream. These obstacles lead Chris to a place he never wanted to be. The film “Sightseers”, written by Alice Lowe and Steve Oram, stars Lowe and Oram alongside Sarah Stewart, Tony Way, Lucy Russell, Jonathan Aris, Richard Lumsden, and Monica Dolan.
