Silent House 2011
The film La Casa Muda is a part of the trend of using handheld cameras and fake documentaries that started with the success of the Blair Witch Project in the horror genre. The film is based on a true story from the 1940s in Uruguay, where a man named Nestor decides to sell his house in the desert and enlists his old friend Wilson and his daughter Laura to clean it. When they arrive at the house and start cleaning, Laura starts hearing strange noises coming from the top floor, despite Nestor’s warning not to go upstairs. What follows is a series of terrifying events that will unfold before the next morning.
