Sinister 2012
Ellison Oswalt, a crime writer, investigates horrific murders to gather material for his novel, traveling across the country with his wife Tracy and two children. They move into a rented house where the previous occupants were all killed. Ellison finds a mysterious box in the attic, containing a projector and dozens of video tapes. He decides to watch the tapes, and what he discovers is chilling – snuff films documenting the torture and deaths of the previous families who lived in the house. Determined to uncover the truth behind the murders, Ellison delves deeper into the horrifying secrets hidden within the tapes.
