Skin Deep tells the story of a man who is dragged to the bottom while drunk. The desperate writer, who thinks he is chasing after his first bestseller book but cannot write a single line all day because he is drunk, tells a funny story. The writer, who cheats on both his wife and mistress but constantly has sex with new women and has long forgotten to stay sober, finally decides one day to return to his old life and begins to heal.
