Will Proudfoot comes from a strict Plymouth Brethren family. His father passed away when he was young, and he is raised by his mother who does not allow him to play or have fun in any way. Despite this, Will befriends the mischievous and troublemaker Lee at school. While watching the movie “First Blood,” Lee becomes inspired to make an action film of his own. Will, who is calm and somewhat naive according to Lee, is more than willing to help him without question. Together, the creative Will and clever Lee set out to create a short film for a BBC competition. Despite their differences, the two boys quickly become close friends and work together to achieve their goal. Set in the 80s with a nostalgic touch, this film is a delightful mix of action and comedy.
