A French journalist (Diana Kruger) learns the harsh reality during her last interview with a woman in trouble in Afghanistan. The woman leaves without looking back, and the journalist, Diana, follows to help. However, she will fail and be taken hostage by the Taliban. Rescued by a special forces team created by the French government, Diana is now in a life-saving mission against the Taliban. The battle for survival has begun.
