Captain Kirk, Spock, and McCoy are called to an urgent mission aboard the Starship Enterprise and find themselves as prisoners of a rebellious Vulcan. The Vulcan’s sole purpose is to discover what lies beyond the ‘Great Barrier’ at the edge of the universe. The journey turns into a quest to unravel the mystery of creation and delves into a metaphysical search to uncover the secrets of life. Soon, the encounter will turn into a confrontation between Klingons, Vulcans, and humans, with one of the parties being the all-powerful ‘God’.
