Steel Magnolias 1989
The Steel Magnolias portrays glimpses from the lives of a group of women who are very good friends around a beauty salon. Living in Louisiana in the 1980s, these women have some issues with their husbands. Some are dead, some are depressed, and some have not even been able to get married yet. As a result, these women find themselves increasingly drawn to the irresistible allure of gossip. Gossip is the best thing these women do. They find many things among themselves and in this small beauty salon that they cannot find in other people outside.
