Stigmata 1999
The Vatican sends priest Andrew Kiernan (Gabriel Byrne) to investigate a claim in a village in Brazil where blood is said to be flowing from the eyes of a statue of Jesus. At the same time, in the city of America, a woman named Frankie Page (Patricia Arquette) develops strange wounds on her body and is diagnosed with Stigmata. As the priest investigates these two events, he also questions his 1900-year-old beliefs.
