The spirit of a murdered woman wanders in her modest home in Chicago, desperately waiting to communicate with someone who can hear her. Jake, a 6-year-old boy, is the first to talk to the spirit, but his rational parents, Tom and Maggie, mock the idea of his imaginary friend. After being hypnotized at a party, Tom is haunted by gruesome and violent images of a woman who was raped and killed. As time passes, Tom is surrounded by ghostly voices and visions from the past. Who is this woman? Tom decides to find out the truth about her. It’s not just buried bones, but a deadly theory about to emerge.
