Storm Boy film is a beautiful and contemporary adaptation of Colin Thiele’s classic Australian fable. Retired businessman and grandfather Michael Kingley is forced to remember his long-forgotten childhood when he begins to see unexplainable images from his past. He tells his grandson about the time he lived in a remote coastal town with his father and how he rescued and cared for a family of pelicans. Based on the book of the same name, Storm Boy is a timeless tale of an extraordinary and unconditional friendship. Directed by Shawn Seet, the 2019 Australian film stars Geoffrey Rush in the lead role.
