Striking Distance 1993
Tom Hardy, his father being a police officer, is devastated when his father is killed on duty. After making accusations that lead to further investigations, authorities assign him to river patrol duty and give him a female police officer as his partner. Initially struggling to adjust to his new partner and job, Tom eventually settles in but continues his secret investigation to uncover his father’s killer. As his inquiries escalate, it becomes clear that the identity of the killer is at stake, prompting the decision that Tom must be eliminated to end the case. The killer attempts to murder Tom, but Tom is not an easy target to take down. Determined to uncover his father’s killer, he is willing to do whatever it takes.
