Sundown 2021
Michel Franco’s film premiered at the 2021 Istanbul Film Festival’s New Deal and then at the Venice Film Festival. Its name is derived from a pastoral Acapulco vacation shared between two young men, a woman, and a wealthy man. However, their peaceful vacation is interrupted by news of social unrest.
