Film
The main character of the film is Cody Maverick, a teenage Rockhopper penguin who is set to compete in his first professional surfing competition. With a camera crew documenting his experience, Cody travels from his home in Antarctica to Pen Gu Island for the Big Z Surf Competition. Along the way, he meets surfing fanatic Chicken Joe, famous surf organizer Reggie Belafonte, talent scout Mikey Abromowitz, and enthusiastic lifeguard Lani Aliikai. As Cody pursues his dream of winning the competition, he realizes that victory may not always mean finishing first and that finding his own path is more important than winning.
