On November 13, 1974, police received a terrifying phone call from 112 Ocean Avenue, Long Island, New York. When they arrived, they found the entire family dead in their beds. Ronald DeFeo confessed to killing his parents and four siblings due to some “voices” in the house. A year later, George Lutz, Kathy Lutz, and their children moved in, thinking they had found their dream home. Strange and inexplicable events began to occur shortly after they moved in. Nightmarish visions and horrifying sounds seemed to emanate from the lingering evil in the house. Katie, scared of her imaginary friend Jody, struggled to keep the family together while George spent his days and nights in the basement. George discovered a secret passage leading to a mysterious room called the Red Room in the basement. As the house comes alive and chilling events unfold, demonic voices and images haunt George’s mind.
