The Barrens 2012
The Vineyard family goes on a trip to the New Jersey Pine Barrens. There is a legend that the Jersey Devil lives in this forest. According to the legend, a woman named Ann Leeds, who had 13 children, gave her 13th child to the Devil. The townspeople wanted her to leave the town because she had too many children. She didn’t want to leave the house where she lived with her children, so she made this sacrifice. Now, the Vineyard family is camping in this forest to scatter their grandfather’s ashes. But they hear that someone is missing in the forest. Richard thinks it’s the work of the Jersey Devil. They decide to stay away from the other campers. After leaving the camp, they encounter more problems than before. Is the Jersey Devil legend true? Or is it just a simple story?
