L’ours 1988
French director Jean-Jacques Annaud’s legendary reputation owes much to this film by Claude Berry, which tells the story of a bear cub trying to survive and grow up without its mother in a convincing and dramatic tone, unlike Disney: the cub wants to approach an adult bear. However, in order to gain the friendship of this gigantic creature, it will have to cooperate with the cruelty of two hunters named Bill and Tom… Some moviegoers will remember it with a smile.
