The Beast 1988
In 1981, a tank and its crew, part of a raiding group that destroyed a small village in Russian-occupied Afghanistan, go missing on their way back to base. Witnessing the brutal massacre of their relatives in the village, Afghan Mujahideen vow to track down the tank in the desert and seek revenge for the slain. The film highlights how war can turn people into ruthless beings, and ultimately shows that humanity is always the loser, even if there is a winner.
