The Beguiled 2017
Northern union soldier John McBurney is wounded in the American Civil War and is found by a girl at a boarding school in Mississippi, which is under the Confederate States. Taken in and cared for by the headmistress Martha Farnsworth, John forms relationships with the female residents. However, as tensions grow between the women, they eventually turn against him, leading to a dramatic turn of events. Directed by Sofia Coppola, The Beguiled is a gripping drama based on a novel.
