The Birdcage 1996
Armand Goldman (Robin Williams) is the owner of The Birdcage, a gay nightclub on the South Beach of Miami. His longtime partner Albert (Nathan Lane) is the star performer at the club. When Armand’s son Val, who is actually his biological son from a previous marriage, visits and reveals that he is engaged to the daughter of an American senator, chaos ensues. To make matters worse, the senator and his wife want to meet Val’s “parents,” leading to a hilarious series of events as they try to hide their true identities.
