The Black Dahlia 2006
On January 15, 1947, the body of a beautiful young woman tortured to death was found in an empty lot in Los Angeles. The victim became known as the Black Dahlia and her death sparked the largest manhunt in California history. Bucky Bleichert and Leigh Blanchard find themselves at the center of the Black Dahlia case: two cops, two tough guys, two friends, and two rivals in love with the same woman. But their obsession will be the Black Dahlia. They will want to know everything about her life, catch her killer, and even possess her in death, their search leading them into the depths of post-war Hollywood’s dark side, the life and death of a dead woman.
