Nine-year-old Ren, struggling to cope with the absence of his parents, finds himself in a parallel universe while running through the streets in despair and anger. In this world inhabited by monsters, Ren is taken on as an apprentice by Kumatetsu, a highly rude, emotionless, and selfish fighter. Despite the years of fighting, noise, and tough training, Ren cannot forget the world he left behind. Will he return and continue where he left off, or will he stay in this world and become a master fighter?
