The Breadwinner 2017
11-year-old Afghan girl Parvana is an ordinary Middle Eastern girl living under social pressure. Her father is wrongly imprisoned. To support her family, she disguises herself as a boy and starts working. Along with her friend Shauzia, Parvana discovers a world that is both free and dangerous. Drawing strength from her imaginative stories, Parvana sets out to find her father and reunite her family.
