The Brood 1979
Frank Carveth’s ex-wife Nola is undergoing treatment in a special hospital for an extraordinary psychologist. This famous psychologist, Dr. Hal Raglan (legendary actor Oliver Reed), works with his own developed technique called “psychoplasmic”. In psychoplasmic therapy, patients who express their emotions may also experience physical changes as a result of these expressions. When Frank Carveth’s youngest daughter returns to her father’s house after spending a weekend with her mother, she is injured on her back, causing Frank Carveth to go crazy and blame Dr. S. Hal Raglan. When Nola’s mother is brutally murdered by an unknown, violent child, things quickly spiral out of control.
