The Burning 1981
At a Blackfoot camp, the camp director Cropsey is a violent man who abuses and harasses young campers for his own pleasure. Fed up with his behavior, a group of young campers decides to play a prank on him. They sneak into Cropsey’s cabin at night and leave a rotting skull next to his bed with a lit candle. When Cropsey wakes up and sees the skull, he panics and accidentally sets his cabin on fire, burning himself in the process. After spending five years fighting for his life in the hospital, Cropsey transforms into a monstrous figure resembling Darkman and Freddy Krueger. Seeking revenge, he heads to Stonewater Camp to spill the blood of energetic young campers who innocently came to town for a day.
