The Cabin in the Woods 2011
The Cabin in the Woods, directed by Drew Goddard, starts off as a classic horror film where five friends go to a cabin in the woods and bad things happen. However, after a widespread bloodbath, the young people start to react against the traditional horror movies with a group of technicians in a control room who watch and even guide the scared youngsters every move. From this point on, the film turns the horror film tradition upside down in an adventure that combines imagination and subtle humor. Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Fran Krantz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins, and Bradley Whitford star in the movie.
