The Canal 2014
Film archivist David (Rupert Evans) suspects that his wife Alice (Hannah Hoekstra) is cheating on him. Meanwhile, his colleague Claire gives him an old film reel that shows footage of a brutal murder that took place in their house in 1902. Learning about the murders in their house, David starts to believe that there are other entities living in the house under stress and pressure. His wife disappears after he realizes she’s been unfaithful. The police suspect David’s involvement in her disappearance. Convinced that these creatures have killed his wife, David sets out to find evidence.
